The American President sends a new warning to Iran
The US president applies a similar strategy as used against North Korea.
The US president's morning tweets were interrupted by a very violent, nocturnal, written in capitals a little before midnight, Sunday July 22, 2018, threat to the Iranian president Hassan Rohani: 'Never threaten the United States or you will suffer the worst consequences in history. We do not suffer your words of violence and death,' he menaced. Following a consultation with Iranian diplomats on Sunday Rouhani asked the US president to cease his political hostility to Tehran.
The violent words of US president are comparable to his invective against North Korea even though the united States withdrew from the UN nuclear accord with Iran.
Inflicting maximum pressure to obtain concessions, the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, used these words on May 21 whilst 'demanding (Iran ending all nuclear enrichments; the retreat of Iranian militias from Syria and the ending of support for Hamas and Hezbollah...) in exchange for a new agreement.
Should Iran doubt the sincerity of our president's vision then look at our diplomacy with North Korea, declared Pompeo. The US president menaced the Pyongyang regime culminating in a historic summit in Singapore. The US president challenged Iran July 17, on hie return from the Helsinki summit with president Putin. 'We left the Iranian accord, the worst deal imaginable, this has had a major impact on Iran, seriously weakening the country, Iran on contacting the US will sign a new accord. Iran is not the same country as 5 months ago.'
The US threatens to sanction Iranian oil exports from November which provide essential revenues for the country. President Rouhani threatens to block the Straits of Hormuz which radicalises a moderate Iranian president. 'Do not play with the tail of a lion because you will regret it.' declared Rouhani. 'The US and her allies do not understand language other than force.' declared Amir Hatami the Iranian defence minister whilst announcing newly produced air to air missiles. The foreign affairs minister, Javad Zarif announced a formal complaint to the International Court of Justice in the Hague against the US who imposed unilateral illegal sanctions against Iran. The US president replied 'we are not impressed, we have witnessed the fall of empires, we have endured longer than other countries.'
Iran is not North Korea, they do not possess nuclear weapons; military options against Iran are not feasible; the US administration feel regime change is possible in Iran; President Obama engaged with Iran and the current US president is opposed to this engagement.
The foreign politics of the US president do not affect the interior population of the US population because in July his popularity was above 45%. 88% of republicans support the current US president according to the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll. George W. Bush obtained a higher poll rating only after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
